How to not be afraid of the soccer ball?
I am a keeper for my soccer team and up to recently I have not been afraid of the ball, but the other day I took a ball to the face which I am used to, but I am afraid of the ball now. How can I overcome that fear before our season starts in three weeks?
I dont think that ur afraid of the ball, ur just afraid of getting hurt again and that always happens! U have to face the fear and I say the best way is to get back in goal and have ur teammates shoot on u! That will get u ready and more confident for the season. You wont know ur ready until the first game but if u go in there scared its not going to make u play better! You have to play like nothing ever happened and let go of the fears and worries and just play the game and have fun!! It might not be the first game or it might not be till half way through the season, but there will be the point when u will not be worried at all and u will go full strength and play ur game again, it just happens like that! The only thing I can say is after getting hurt u have to face the fear head on! Hope this helps and good luck with the season!!
Just image the ball as a person's head. this person can be anyone...enimies- kick them out of the net!!
Friends- protect them from going inside the goal!
anybody- do anything to them!
You should set your mind to get aggressive and concentrate on protecting the goal. If you are scared, you are more likely to get hurt again because you will be indecisive.
dont be scared it just a ball all u get is pain then 5 mins later the pains stops simple
make love to the ball, no one is scared of something they love
do what my dad did to me. took me to the basement and kicked balls at me until i didnt flinch anymore. find a good friend to do that to you... and im not even a keeper
If u will be scared in the game u cannot play good i am not scared of ball thats y i cannot answer u r question
