How aggressive are you when you play in a soccer game? |
Im aggressive enough to give myself a yellow card. I'm aggressive like crazy but I rarely get yellows. I know how to control myself and I know when and when not to go for things. It's funny because I of all people should be getting red-carded each match because I'm pretty heated when it comes to these things but I just know how to control myself, good sportsmanship and perseverance help me keep myself in control. I did not realize that the words aggressive and soccer went together. My bad! well, you have to be aggressive while playing soccer, but you dont want to be too aggressive that you start getting carded for it. my brain Usually just play back yard soccer with 6 or 8 buddies, but we can get pretty aggressive even for a friendly game. Don't know what constitutes a yellow or red card but I don't think we get too bad. Usually depends on how the whole game is going though. i 'play' my hardest all the time. i play through fouls and etc. but you have to learn how to put fans dissing you out of your mind and/or opposing players talking smack out of your mind. when you let them get to you and you're not into the game, your play shows and others become aware of your vulnerability and they take advantage of it too. then it's downhill from there. football is love, love is football My playing days are through, but now I coach a high school team, and, yes, I'm aggressive enough to still give myself a yellow card. I'm working on it....the mind knows what you should do, and what you shouldn't do, but sometimes the heart over-rules the mind.... |
