who will win, what you think (Iraq) Do you think they can make it to the 2nd round? Well I watched Iraq and Thailand last night and Iraq have some very capable players and Thailand really lifted to play a very competitive match last night. I have yet to see Oman play. Australia may be favourites and while I expect them to qualify, I don't expect them to cruise through. We have not been playing all that well and Bresciano may not even start, nor Cahill. Players are admitting to having difficulty still with the humidity. I don't think any team should be taken for granted. I think Australia will eventually get the result against Iraq but they have some very good attacking players and their defenders are not afraid to do their job. Australia will have to play to their potential to win all their matches. Australia should outclass Iraq because we have the like of Kewell, Viduka, Breshiano, Neill, Aloisi just to name a few compared to......i dont know anyone from the Iraqi team because quite frankly they dont play in profesional leagues around the world. I think that Australia and Oman will qualify unless the local Thai crowd pull their side through! AUSTRALIA is clearly the favourites to win this match & one of the teams to go thru to the quarter-finals of the 2007 AFC Asian Cup. the other three teams in Group A, IRAQ, THAILAND & OMAN all have equal chance to reaching the knock-out stage. aussies rule |
