What type of longboard skateboard should i get? |
I want one for cruising around campus and occasionally bombing a hill. Can anyone recommend brands/sizes/prices etc.. Thanks. I recommend you get a sector 9 the board is flexy it's very comfortable and the board goes hell of a lot fast on hills my friend borrowed one and he was flyin!!!!!!!!!! You should either get a mini-board or a begginer board. I'm not sure how big the begginer boards are but I used mine a couple years ago to ride around my town. Now I go to the skatepark with a different board. My board reccomendations are "Baker", "Enjoi", "Element", and "Birdhouse". My wheel reccomendations are 55mm pig wheels. My truck reccomendations are to pick strong durable trucks. When you buy trucks, don't get the color to match your board. Your trucks will last you the longest out of your whole board. I don't really have a reccomendation on bearings. If you have to set up your board, make sure, on the trucks, the big bolts are facing in. Right after you get the board, you might want to ride around and do alot of turning because it will take a little bit for your trucks to break in. Have fun! if you want to "bomb hills" you definitly should get the sector nine bomb hills about $160 its top of the line |
