I have a Tippman ACT and to tell if yours has ACT all you really have to do is pull the bolt back and stick your finger in the hole. Then SLOWLY slide the bolt forward and if the bolt hits your finger and stops and you can still push the bolt handle all the way forward then it is ACT. If it hits your finger and stops the entire bolt and the handle will not go any farther without crushing your finger then it is not ACT.

Simple as that.
It should have a blue A.C.T logo on the grip. if theres none there then it probably isn't A.C.T. but if I am mitaken you may also open the gun there will be two springs coming out of the bolt (if it is A.C.T) the top one is the act spring and the bottom is the bolt spring.
