Low Pressure Chamber ? |
Hello...I just got my spyder pilot ACS...I was just wondering what does the Low Pressure Chamber do? Cause it is sort of lose. And i was wondering wether or not tightening it will change my guns performance. BTW:I use a HPA tank. If that changes anything. Low Pressure Chamber is just the regulator in the marker that brings down the pressure of your HPA. Your HPA tank is probably 3000 or 4500psi and the regulator on the tank brings it usually to 850psi. The gun then brings it down to about 150-300psi depending on the marker. It is it lose, you should tighten it up and make sure it functions. If you don't have a working LPR (low pressure regulator, same thing), then that means your gun will operate at a higher than normal pressure which would be fine except that it will cause more wear and tear and in some cases will crack o-rings or even entire bolts. In a nutshell, the LPR must be working for your marker to perform at its best. If you don't know how to fix it up, bring it to a shop and they will probably help you out. Again, this is not vital but is important for the longevity of your marker. Higher pressure is rougher on the parts, the LPR is there to prevent that.
