Pbreview.com has tons of user feedback on alot of different markers all the way from low end mechanical to high end electronic. Starting there and reading up on them should give you a good view of things. Like said above i'd go with a Tippmann model 98,a5, x7 or rap4s GEN5 t68 m16 if you're looking for woodland/milsim play. On speedball I wouldn't suggest a kingman spyder like said above, kingman and pmi are good guns but for speedball you'll need something to really keep up with everyone else. I suggest and ion from smart parts which is now only 199.95 and is amazing straight out of the box. Also if money isn't an option I'd suggest a smart parts shocker sft or nxt, a dye matrix 4/5/6/7 or an my all time favorite the vintage matrix. All are highend electros and with some mods can rip a freaking hole in the wind. There isn't but a few pre '95 markers that are only full auto, most guns now days have that as an option along with regular semi only, 3/6/9 shot burst, psp, ect. Nitrogen tanks I'd only suggest for the higher end electros and the milsim markers will be just fine with a siphon tubed co2 tank. As far what brand/style n2 is the best I've had nothing but good look out of crossfire tanks. I have a crossfire 45/45 fiber wrap and a 47/3k steel tank. Also on my shocker I have a angel air 68/45 with a smart parts reg on it. Like said above pbreview.com has tons of reviews on all types of gear. Best of luck Source(s): Playing since the early 90's , tech at a pb store, own a local field and own all the markers and tanks stated above. well if you want a woods ball gun a tippmann 98 or A-5 would do if you want speed ball gun i would go with spyder and N-2 is really expencive All guns, mechanical, or electronics have the capability of being semi-auto. But if your talking about JUST semi I'm not really sure. And you can get a cheap compressed air tank for about $80 new but its steel and heavy. like said above look at pbreview and also look at actionvillage.com the best semis are tippmanns and spyders, tippmanns are mil sim guns with hundreds of performance and visual upgrades |
