Ski-Doo experts....is "Bombardier" pronounced.......? |
1. Bom-Ba-Deer 2. Bom-Bar-De-Aye 3. Bom-Bar-De-Er RULES: If you have no clue what I'm talking about, then it's quite simple; DON'T answer. "Bombardier" is obviously related to the French language. Therefore, I would pronounce it as in French (Bom-bar-dee-ay. The "ay" sounds like the last part of the word "hay.") The answer is closest to (but not precisely) number two. bom bar de eh that sounds right when i pronounce it its a good impression of a Canadian too the eh is like a hard "A" sound I think the second variation of pronunciation is correct. Hey...love your avatar!!! It should be "A" It's not a question of being a ski-doo expert. The company is from Quebec, it's named after its founder (who was born in Quebec and spoke French), so it's pronounced closest to #2. My own phonetic spelling: Bome-baahrd-yay. "Bome" to rhyme with "home," and the "aah" is like the a in "fat." #2 . what are you talking about? i have no clue what you are trying to say.... bet you didnt expect that answer huh? huh? huh? huh? huh? did you? huh? huh? Huh? huh? |
