Golf.how do I set up weights in r7 taylor made driver.Ihave the club but did not get the instructions,Thanks? This is the set up for the R7 460,... If you want to hit a draw, put the 14 gram weight in the heel and the two gram weight in the toe. This allows the toe of the club to close quicker than the heel because there is less weight in the toe. This promotes a draw. If you want to fade the ball, reverse the weighting in the club. Put the 14 gram weight in the toe and the 2 gram weight in the heel. This allows the heel to close faster than the toe thus promoting a fade. You can also go to taylormadegolf.com and buy additional weights in other denominations. You always have to keep 16 grams of weighting in the club for it to work correclty and remain compliant with USGA club specs. If you want less draw, raise the weight in the toe, say to a 4 gram, and then put a 12 gram in the heel. They actually sell a set of all weights for $150.00 at the PGA Super Store. If you want the set up for the R7 425, shoot me an email and I will give it to you,... same idea but four weights instead of two,... try www.golfspan |
