How many acres do you need to build a 27 hole golf course? Are you sure you want to do that? I have built over 20 golf course in America and ovrseas. THe smallest area was a 6.000 yd 18-hole course on 100 acres. The largst 36-holes on 800 acres. Give it some thought, golf courses in America are becoming fast food parlors, there is not much money in it anymore...you can email me if you like I do this for a living, dsign, build ect Good luck Less than one if it's miniature golf! It is estimated that the average 18 hole golf course needs 200 acres. So for a 27 hole course, it would be 300 acres. Of course (pardon the pun) some courses require much more depending on the layout. about 10 why? gonna build a golf course 1- 800 acres How much do you make for a living? What are you a doctor? How can anyone afford to build a golf course? Are you sure you are going to have enough time to build a golf course? It might take you about fifty years if you work on it by yourself. around 200? |
