Which is more forgiving the Ping G2 irons or Mizuno MX-17? It's completely subjective and you're most likely going to have to hit them both, but because both are 'game improvement' irons, my guess is that they're both pretty forgiving. For my money, I'd go with the Mizunos, but that's just the traditionalist in me talking. I own the Ping G2's and love them, but it is completely subjective and you should hit them both at an outdoor range to evaluate for yourself. What i can tell you about the g2's is this: They are very forgiving and launch very high. I can hit the 3 iron very well out of most lies, and that is rare. I tried a utility club and preferred my ping 3 iron. Both sets have excellent resale value. mizuno mx - 17... i have them Make sure you are fitted for the right shafts. The heads will play very much alike, but the true heart of a golf club is always THE SHAFT. |
