Is there any way possible (website, magazine, etc) to view the tour playing schedule selected by a particular PGA golfer for the year? I try to follow Camilo Villegas but he doesn't seem to play consecutive tour stops. Is his playing schedule available for public viewing?
After following the PGA Tour diligently for 15 years, there is no one-stop shop for the answer you want. Rather, you need to go to golfers' individual web sites or contact their agents directly. If you can develop a relationship with a full-time golf writer, who has direct access and perhaps working knowledge of the information you desire, you might save yourself some time. Otherwise, for almost every tournament, you have to wait until after 5:00 p.m. ET for the field to be announced for the following week's tournament. (It's posted on the tournament home page FIELD at pgatour.com and updated throughout the week leading up to the event.) You can also go to a specific tournament's home page and track the news for early commitments but they are always subject to change. Finally, don't expect an overnight transition into a single web site for players' schedules. They are independent contractors and are not required to commit to a tournament for which they are eligible until the aforementioned deadline. Even golfers that commit in advance often modify their schedule based on "unscheduled" success now. And there are a small handful of guys that seem to commit to every event for which they qualify, only to withdraw after the deadline. (This last note is my opinion only but a couple of guys have trended towards this action.)

Anecdotal evidence but I am a very part-time sports writer that has covered the PGA tour. Check his website or Cobra/Titleist website.
