Can you give me any good websites for buying clubs? |
I've been to eBay.com, tgw.com, golfsmith.com, and a few other sites looking for some new golf clubs and was wondering if you could give me a few suggestions if you know of any =D Also, any suggestions on good brands would really help! Sounds like you are a beginner since you are even asking this question, so I would actually stay away from the top brands. They are more expensive and although they usually give better performance, a beginner should not worry about that right away. Would try a cheaper set to get you started (Jack Nicklaus, Tommy Armour, Wilson) then move on after a couple of years. Best idea would be to go to a golf store and ask someone about beginners clubs, then take that info and go look on the internet for the best prices. Talk to your local golf proshop...many times they'll have used clubs for sale...or even New one discounted b/c they're a year or two old....but still brand new. Everyone today wants the brand new stuff the year it comes out....so most pro golf stores will give you a big discount. Hope this Helps! PS it also depends on how much you're willing to spend. There are a few factors to consider. 1. Your price range. 2. Are you looking for a complete set of woods & irons? 3. What is your skill level? Your skill level could determine if you buy a set of "game-improvement", "super game-improvement", or "players" irons.
