Anyone else sick of buffalo bandwagoners? |
i am getting so pissed at them. someone has to tell them to shut up! how to tell if your a buffalo bandwagoner: 1. you started following the sabres last year. 2. you think they are the best team ever. not just this year, EVER 3. you think miller is the best goalie in the league. better than brodeur, luongo, hasek, etc. 4. you have a jersey with the buffaslug 5. you didn't know the buffaslug was new so please buffalo bandwagoners, do us a favor and go away I consider myself a Sabres fan however, I do not have a Buffaloslug jersey, but I do have a signed Buffalo LaFontaine jersey. I do not think Miller is the best goal tender, Brodeur does have the better stats. I was at the longest Sabres playoff game. I have 2 signed Hasek sticks from when he played in Buffalo. I watched them loose to the Flyers way back in the 70's I have a "No Goal" tee-shirt and I have not lived in Buffalo for 10 years. Do you consider me a "true fan" I feel your pain; Buffaslug? wow! cute! lol... Buffaslugs I have this pity for the city of Buffalo... never won anything. They are like our cross-lake, cross-border cousins and I do like to see them do well. I was actually scared for them during their bankruptcy contraction scare a few years back... btw, where were all these fans then?? bandwagoners..! I love it when the Leafs go to the HSBC centre and see half the building in blue n' white..! repost: ok... since my Leafs sucks, I was cheering for my cross lake neighbours in Buffalo... but now all these bandwagon fans are starting to annoy me... GO ISLANDERS..! Heard on AM 550 WGR Buffalo, that a Sabres season ticket holder was selling front row Sabres playoffs tickets for $1,500/pair on ebay... as soon as the Leafs were eliminated.. he/she dropped the price down to $500... HAHA that is definitely true. Those are like the people that are pittsburgh steelers fans just cuz they won the superbowl a while ago. THEY DRIVE ME CRAZY! I know so many people who only get into hockey when its the play offs and a team is doing good. I know what you mean. Ive been a sabers fan for 4 days now (since my leafs were eliminated, lol!!!!111!!one) and I cant stand teh poserz! Seriously, no kidding. Follow a team for life, thats a real fan. Bandwagoners are a fact of life. I'll bet you could apply that label to 90% of sports fans. Meanwhile, I'll bet half the people you apply this to really aren't. That said, I agree with your assessment of what a bandwagoner is! Here is the thing, though. If you are not a Buffalo fan, then you are totally biased. Your beef is likely just that your team isn't as good as theirs. Would you get upset if everyone liked YOUR team? Probably not. If you ARE a Buffalo fan, then you should just be glad your team is finally good enough to have bandwagoners. It is about time. I laughed back in 1998. I was wearing my Red Wings jersey at school, and someone asked me if I was a bandwagoner. The next day I came to school in a Detroit Lions shirt and a Tiger cap (they both sucked, in case you didn't know). Everyone that likes a good team is not a bandwagoner. The ones that are? Who cares? I think you're making a big fuss out of nothing. as long as they stick with them when they suck balls next season |
