How long is an NHL playoff game usually?

The Sharks are playing the Predators tonight and i need to know how long it's gonna be.

NHL playoff games can last anywhere from 2 and a half to about 7 or 8 hours (those are the longest games ever, going like 6 or 7 overtimes). Expect tonights game between San Jose and Nashville, which starts around 8pm Eastern Standard Time, about 5pm on the Pacific Coast, to go from anywhere between 10:30pm and 12:00am Eastern (about 7:30 to 9:00 Pacific).
Most hockey games are about three hours long. I've been watching the NHL since 1989 and have been to quite a few games.
three 20 minute periods. 2 20 minute intermissions. plus stoppages in play and possibly OT. 2 and a half hours maybe
devils grl
I Would Say A Good Stiff 3 Hours. Usually They Tend To Stretch Because Of Incidents At The Rink But It Should Be Around 3 Hours. Have Fun!
Rangers Dude.
Usually around 2 hours and 30 min...but thats just in a regulation game..if it goes into OT then its longer..and it will be longer than normal OT games because there is no shoot out.
