What are the chances of the Flyers picking up Foresberg? I live in Philadelphia and was listening to the radio today and Hartnell who was in Sweden with Forsberg said he was interested in coming back to the NHL. He also stated it would be mid-season. None, that's why they signed Briere. He'll pretty much be a replaement. They have no chance at all! They don't really have any money left to sign players, especially an expensive player like Foresberg. 0% Slim to none. There is no way that he well be going to Philly. i have to agree. as much as i want peter to come back i think his time is done. he played well for us and he did have some bad times. but i think for a player like him who is battling all these injuries i think it is time to take off and relax and retire. but if he wants just for like a couple years to rehabb and make sure his legs are 100 percent healthy. so that is y the flyers went out and got briere to replace forsberg and i think they did one hell of a job going out and getting a top center like daniel. so i am so happy we got daniel but i am going to miss peter in our lineup he is such a great leader to the players. i would think if we would of kept forsberg when we first drafted him we would do great cause we would of had a younger stronger peter. not saying he is not strong he is. he does so much with the puck. but briere will also do great things with the puck. so i am happy we have daniel. lets go flyers. negative |
