Do horses see bigger than humans?
Are horses vision magnified?
I remember an instructor at Pony Club telling us that horses see things magnified and that is one of the reasons why they obey us as we appear larger than we really are. Found out later that is just an old wives tale.
Horses don't see things bigger, but they do have a much wider range of vision because of their eyes being set on the side of their head, so they can see almost all the way around them at all times, except for a spot right in front of their nose & right behind them. If they really saw things bigger they would be leaping over all sorts of twigs on the ground, puddles etc.

What makes you think that...
I've been told that they do.several years i worked on a race track. and some mornings when i got to the barn. the horse would be standing very still on one of the stall walls. it was because there was a mouse in the stall with him. the trainer i worked for informed me the horse See's things 10X normal size. I've often wondered if he was telling the truth?
