Are there any good hunting places in iowa?

last year when i went deer hunting late muzzeloader i was out hunting all the time and i only saw 4 or 5 deer the whole season does anybody know there there is some good hunting timbers in iowa

There are many places in Iowa to hunt but be careful on which land you step on or else, BAANG!!! They will shoot you for trespassing. SERIOUSLY!!! Much of the land are owned by farmers. It is best if you go to door of the farmer and ask if you can hunt on their property. Most of the time they will say SURE.. Good Luck!! Source(s): Best spots--- Marion County(State record Buck), Tama County, Davis county (State record Bucks), Much of the----------- south east corner ---------of Iowa is the Sweet Spot and your on your own there cause no one will tell you (OK,HINT!!-- It borders the Iowa/Missouri border- Ton of BUCKS & BIG DOE!!!)
go ahead and hunt people in iowa noone will notice
Iowa is the land of giants my friend. It sounds to me like your in the right area you just got to do a little leg work in the woods. Get out do some walking, do some research and your hardwork will pay off. Remember the old saying for every deer you see there is three that got by you that you didnt see.
