Does anyone have any pre-cut figure skating music they could send me? |
i need it to be 2:00 mins + or - 10 seconds please let me know or email me monarch2010@yahoo.com I could offer to cut music for you. I also have some of Sasha Cohen's music but I don't think you'd want something that recognizable. There are soooooooooo many pieces of music out there - as well as music taste! It'd be good to add in additional details to your question . . . like the kind of music you're looking for. Ikaihc's given you a few very good links that could help you find something to your liking. Don't be disappointed if only a few people respond to your request. Sharing cut program music isn't done often, for a variety of reasons. When a professional cuts the music and charges a fee, it's cheating them to not buy a copy from that person. Not to mention the question of 'ownership' based on who purchased the original uncut music. The pros spend hours cutting music to length and should be compensated. It's unethical for them to give away someone else's program music. The person who purchased the music and cutting service probably wouldn't want to give it away for free. Many skating coaches cut their own music for students and don't charge a fee; as a result, they can 'reuse' already-cut music when the skater gets a new program. Ask your coach if he/she can help you find appropriate music. If you have a Macintosh computer, it comes with music editing software - you can cut the music yourself from a CD. If you have a handy friend who likes to do music blends and mixes, they'll be up to the challenge. Just be sure to play the final cut and time it with a stopwatch - that's what the Referee will use at the competition. |
