How do you feel about going to back-to back Short Tracks? |
The IndyCar Series was in Iowa last week and Richmond this week. Do you think the schedule should be mixed up a little? I'm not sure but I like there thinking for the safety point of it. they have there short track cars and mind set ready to go so I don't see anything wrong with it. I am more surprised that they even go to such short tracks. The G-force has to be tremendous. I am just happy to have another race to watch. They know more about scheduling than I do. God Bless America After the last Iowa race I'm just happy we're gone from that place. Richmond should be an exciting race. And yeah, the G's have to take a huge toll on each driver! I think the short tracks are great for the suspense of wondering if there are going to be any cars left at the end of the race. I can imagine one of these days at that Iowa track that there may only be 2 or 3 cars that finish the race. These short tracks are also a great attraction for those who aren't die-hard fans of the IRL cars, and the action is a huge plus for ratings. I say, more short tracks, less mile and a half cookie cutter tracks, and please go back to the great tracks of the past like Pocono. Nah..I think it is fine. I don't hate it and I don't love it. I quess it's okay. I have heard many people say both good and bad things about having back-to-back short tracks. Honestly, I don't really care. It's a race. All that should matter is rooting for your favorite team or driver and having a great time watching it. I know that some people are fans of drivers who are not so great at the short ovals and are concerned. Well all I have to say about that is, the more experience the driver has on the short ovals, the more they become better at it. Give me a road course. |
