How did Bruce Lee break his back?

How did Bruce Lee break his back?

Despite the dramatic representation of another fighter savagely kicking Bruce Lee in the back, as presented on "The Bruce Lee story" This is fictional.
Bruce Lee trained with heavy weights, and was one of the first martial artists to do so. He did "good mornings" with a heavy barbell on his back, an exercise where you simply bend at the waist and "bow" then return upright. Anyone who knows about the back knows this is a dangerous exercise, and it was what injured Lee's back. He was told that he would never be an active Martial artist again, but like most things, Lee did not accept this prognosis. The rest is history.
i kicked him!

I am not sure where this information was found as far as Bruce Lee injuring his back in a fight. However, this information is incorrect. His back injury occured long before he was in Thailand for filming and the accounts of that fight are unheard of from any respectaed Lee Historian.
i believe he did it in a motorcycle accident? something like that. the movie said he got into a fight but i am pretty sure that was completely wrong.
He broke his back?! I never new that at all.
How did he fix it?
He didn't. He did seriously injure it doing a weight training exercise for the back muscles called "Good Mornings". He simply used too much weight. He stopped training for several months to try to heal some of the nerve damage but it never got to 100 percent healed.
