Kempo and Boxing?

hey im going to start kempo soon but i love boxing. Do you think if i do kempo 3 days a week but boxing 2 days a week it will affect my kempo at all? because i love boxing

A agree, not only will your study of boxing improve your kempo, but your study of kempo will improve your boxing. Give you perspective, like a person who has a road map of Pennsylvania, but also has a topographical map of Pennsylvania. When my Sempi asked if he could take boxing, I said he should because it will help his karate, and he's come back and told me he punches harder than other guys at the gym because of his understanding of the Isshinryu punch.
It would improve your kempo to have the boxing hand and defensive moves like the bob and weave. It will also improve the kempo hand strikes.
I agree with Ray H, just don't get burnt-out with that 5 day schedule.
A Martial Artist most of my life.
unless you are chosing to attempt a career as a pro boxer then they would compliment each other.

If you are looking to be a boxing hopefull then all your time and energy would be better spent devoting it specifically to training in that art with the mindset of competing.
