Does Koscheck stand a chance against St. Pierre? |
I can't believe Koscheck is getting a shot @ the belt. Does everyone think he deserves it? Or am I the only one that doesn't think Josh has proven enough to fight for the belt.. Maybe he does deserve it.. He can make me change my mind by beating Pierre.. But I doubt that will happen. I thought Josh looked terrible in the fight against Sanchez.. Although so did Sanchez. I'm a big GSP fan so I don't like this fight. Koscheck was able to take down and control BJJ black belt Joslin, GSP is a BJJ brown belt. Kos's wrestling is that good. Standing GSP has it hands down, but I fear a lay n' pray decision for Kos. I'll be watching for sure. How do you figure he is getting a shot at the belt? The winner of this fight will probably get a title shot but let's get through this fight first. To answer your 1st question not only does Kos have a chance he will beat him. He beat the until then unbeaten Sanchez. St. Pierre is getting lazy and sloppy. He thinks he is better than he really is. Don't get me wrong he is a great fighter but Koscheck is a much better athlete who has progressed well in the sport. Of course he does. Matt Serra did didn't he? But I'm pretty sure Georges will take Koscheck apart. The people who actually think Koschecks stand up is better than GSP's are fooling themselves. He outpointed a weakened and sick Diego, and he was too stupid to realize that the crowd wasn't booing him because he won but because he didn't do anything. As long as Georges does what he does and not what he did agaisnt Serra, Kos will be... NIIINE ANNND TWOOOOO!!! ...Friggin moron... I think Koschek's best chance is to lay and pray. St. Pierre has the advantage everywhere except for wrestling. i dont even think koscheck's wrestling is going to help him look at what happend to matt hughes, i think koscheck is gonna be to afraid of getting caught with one of those high kicks. i dont think he's going to shoot in that much i think he will stand with st. pierre and get out boxed I don't think he deserves it. I think Diego should have thrown more than one punch and destroyed 'Kos' (How stupid is that nickname too btw?) AnywaysI agree that I don't think he should be fighting in a contender match. I think GSP will destroy him. His take down defense is pretty good and in every other area he is phenominal. All Kos will try to do is lay and pray. He is a boring fighter and he needs time to improve even more before he goes against someone the caliber of GSP. Josh has great wrestling skills there is always a chance. GSP also seems to lose focus sometime. Josh can definitely pull the upset. |
