Fighting skill of Kufu and other Martial arts, Are they good to learn and do they help you to lose weight?

From experience I would say yes they are good to learn because martial arts whatever the style teaches self control, some teach you mearly to fight, some styles are not taught for fighting they are for spiritual purposes but can b used to fight if you are cornered.
yes, you do lose weight plenty of it you will sweat a lot.
Yes they are good to learn for protection and just something to do. They do help you lose weight because it is a form of aerobic exercise, just stick with it, and practice at home, and you will be in great shape!
