wow amazing fights Heath Herring showed tramendace heart cant believe they didnt stop the fight in that first round and Franca impressed me even thou he didnt win....looked like a walk in the park for Florian and Silva...and now for my question do you believe that Tito would have won if he didnt grab the cage?????some might say yes because he wouldnt have got a point tookin away but some might say no because if Tito didnt grab the cage that he would have been takin down and possibly finshed...what do you think?????? "If you're not cheating, you're not trying". I think they should have awarded the fight to Evans just because Tito said that. I'm a fan of both, but if Tito hadn't been grabbing shorts and the cage he probably would have won the round based on agression and I believe he did hold Rashaad down for a little bit...I can't really remember that well I was drinking...but it was close. I think Dana White should make a round 4 special on Spike for free just because I hate draws. I also want to express my deepest hate for whoever that ref was in the Herring fight. I put money on Herring because the payout was so big ( I bet 40 and I would have made 200 if he'd won) and he should have stopped the fight in the first. Oh well, it was free money, but still. The Sherk fight was probably one of the most boring I've seen. I can't wait to see what BJ is going to do with Sherk....if he trains hard. Florian looked great as well, but did anyone else notice how fast those guys got put in the octagon??? Joe Rogan was yelling at people to come back and there they were. It was a pretty good card, I just can't wait for the Couture fight and the St. Pierre fight next month. wait, what? Tito's a ***** anyway so who cares. Thanx for your time Bye ;) If Tito didn't grab the cage and Rashad's shorts through out the fight. He would have been grounded and pounded by Rashad. Which was evident by what Rashad was doing to him the 3rd round when he slammed the hell out of Tito and was pounded him in the face with elbows until the bell rung. They got it out for Tito, thats all there is to it. Obviously if he was deducted a point and it was a draw then that means Tito would have won, do the math genius. What I don't get is why they never stood up the Franca/Sherk fight, but yet stood up Silva/Marquardt in no time, he still would have gotten killed but whats really going on. That last grab cost him the fight for 2 reasons: 1. He got a guillotine right afterward and didn't apply pressure right away because he was being told about the point deduction. If he had started just a few seconds earlier, the fight would have ended with that submission. 2. He had that round in the bag. There were only about 25 seconds left. All he would have had to do was wait out the round, after being taken down, and the fight would have been 29-28. BTW: They didn't stand up the Sherk fight because they were very active on the ground. The Silva fight, on the other hand, was stood up quickly because they want Silva to keep remain champion until the Franklin vs Silva re-match. Nobody has it out for Tito. The NSAC handed him a win agaisnt Forrest. He lost the second and third. Do the math? OK. The second round was incredibly close. Tito wasn't winning it up until the Guillotine. + If Tito doesn't grab the fence Rashad takes him down and gets a better position, Tito doesn't get the guillotine. Rashad wins the second round. = Rashad wins the fight if Tito doesn't grab the fence. How anyone can say Tito was clearly winning the second before the guillotine is beyond me. Was it the sluggish high kicks that didn't have a chance in hell of landing cleanly? |
