How good was his valencia side? why did he win 2 league titles - was it the star players? management? if he didnt buy the players did he inheret the best playerS? he could compete with real madrid an barca they have so much more money? what was the secret he's good guy for Valencia the secret is motivation plus the fact that they were probably on performance enhancing drugs that can't be detected! A combination of good players and good coaching. At Valencia expectatios were initally low, so playing direct, unattractive football was acceptable. Long ball to Carew.. Rafa's a brilliant coach He did really well in Valencia. He managed the club well, tactic wise Rafa morphed Valencia into an attacking force. I think his star players was Ayala, Albelda and Cannizares. They won a La Liga trophy in 2002 but thats all. I think that money was quite a constraint too He got Velencia playing as a team and they used to defend as a team, bit like Liverpool in Champs league. He had a really good goal scorer in Mista. committed players and good tactics perhaps... |
