will Real Madrid miss Beckham when he leaves for the U.S? No doubt it will be a huge loss finantially, but football wise, there are better players (thogh less famous) than David Beckham. He is more than just a footballer now. He has gone to LA Galaxy as Brand Beckham which brings fame, celebrity status and that twiglet called Posh Spice. He is in the game for the money now. $500,000 a week is ridiculous. He was once respected now he is just an item, a very expensive item that Galaxy wanted to buy in order to publicise and promote football in LA and in USA where soccor isnt that popular than it is in Europe. They will miss the shirt sales and that but footy wise, no. yep there miss the money he brings in to the team through shirt sales. he cost them 25 mil and brought in about 100 mil. t Yes everyone misses David Beckham especially you know who Yesterday. Miss his high crosses. Probably not. Only money wise. Maybe a few freekicks here and there too. I really don't think so. Real Madrid, in my opinion, is now one the worse spanish teams. They have so many good players, so many stars, but they still don't realize its all about tacticts. Many teams have excelled with no, or a couple of stars in their teams, take Liverpool this season, or say Bayern Munchen back in the days. When Beckham leaves, their gonna find a replacement, a good one too, as they always do. But the question is, is beckham really that essential to the team? I honestly don't think so. I simply don't see great contribution from his side, nor is he continuously on his top game. yes i think they will but i don't expect them to hold a day of mourning!! |
