What is/should Manchester United going to do about their strikers situation for next year? |
What do people think United are going to do about their striker situation for next year. As is it looks like Smith is on his way out and the 4 remaining next year will be Saha, Rooney, Rossi, and Solskjaer. I'm worried that that is not enough cover as solskjaer is getting on in years, Saha has injury problems every year, and Rossi is relatively unproven in the Prem. Any ideas of what is going to happen this summer in terms of strikers? Is Saha out? Who is going to come in? Will SAF maybe just stick with his current players + Dong Fangzou as added cover. I'm personally hoping for Huntelaar to come in, but who knows what will happen. the obvious answer to your question is to buy a striker or two. huntelaar maybe a good one. david villa is another. please not fernando torres. if we can keep smith, it will also be good. fangzhou? sell him. i'd rather have vintage ole anytime from the bench. they need to clean up Man U attacking core, i would get rid Saha because seriously the man is useless, i would also throw out Rossi, keep Rooney, and Solskjaer as a replacement, and go after Atletico Star Fernando Torres. Firstly, Rossi can't go to Parma. He needs his chance. Especially if Smith is leaving. Fangzhou doesn't look good enough. Solskjaer is too old. Saha is always injured. We need to buy at LEAST one striker. One proven big name goalscorer (Huntelaar, Eto'o, Torres, David Villa) and then someone else with potential. Maybe that Pazzini kid from Fiorentina. They should shut up, end some speculation, and buy F. Torres D. Villa or even M. Owen are in transfer speculation, go gor em If spanish players Torres or Villa don't turn up at the club then i am asuming that Manchester United will have a formation in which Rooney plays as a centre forward with either Nani and C.Ronaldo play in the wing or Giggs and C.Ronaldo play in the wing. |
