Who is the better acquisition - Tevez at Man U or Torres at Liverpool? TORRES IS BEST Tevez has already proven that he can play in the EPL and still score goals so he's already done with his adjustment period in EPL. Torres, on the other hand, is still untested as far as the EPL is concerned. We've already seen Sheva who was a prolific goal scorer in Serie A suffer from a bad first year at EPL. We don't know whether this will happen to Torres or not. I would say Tevez is a better acquisition. I haven't seen any official news coming from United about this though. Can anybody provide a link? Definitely Fernando Torres. Liverpool needs a better forward than Crouch or Kuyt Tevez is a proven goal scorer in the EPL. Torres will have to back it up and prove he's worth all that $$! There are no official reports that Tevez is with Man Utd. Yet. :) THEY ARE BOTH DUMB LIKE LIVERPOOL No doubt Torres, given that Man U have allegedly made no offer to Tevez at present. Tevez is not a prolific goalscorer and plays a very similar role to Rooney; whereas Torres is a goal poacher. Also you have to consider thae actual ownership of the player. Torres is now contracted to Liverpool but if Tevez were to move to Man U it is likely he would still be owned by Iranian businessman Kia Joorabchian, like the current situation at West Ham, which means Man U having to pay him to "loan" the player, or else pay a ridiculuous transfer fee of around 拢30m to buy him outright. It would be a very complicated and expensive signing so I think they'd be better off looking elsewhere to be honest. Tevez to man u |
