Which team do you hate to admit to secretly admiring? The New York Red Bulls because I'm a DC United fan and there is a big rivalry between those two teams. I didn't really start to admire them until this season though. I will also admit but I don't hate to admit it, I admire Aresenal a little bit and I do admire Liverpool and even more so, Manchester United. I like those 3 teams but I haven't been able to pick a favorite yet. I think I'm about to though. I first took notice to Man U back in Beckham's early years there and I always kept track of how they were doing over the years. I payed even more attention to them when I watched them come from behind in stoppage time in the Champions League Final against Bayern Munich back in 1999. I was in awe when I saw that and very impressed and actually I didn't like to admit it but it did make me become a fan. It looked like they were going to lose but they came back to win in injury time to go from being down by a goal with the score being 1-0 to scoring twice in injury time to win 2-1. I guess I am a Man U fan after all. I just never really thought about it much because I don't identify with them like I do with my favorite team, DC United. I always did like Man U but didn't want people to think I was just being a glory hunter which I'm not. Thanks. You've helped me with you're question to answer one of my own. I never could decide on a favorite EPL team because I just never gave it much thought until now but I have always favored Man U since I first heard of them. I will no longer hide that I'm a fan of Man U. I just hope that since I'm now admitting that I've always kind of liked Man U and have been a fan since 1999 people don't assume I'm being a glory hunter. Thanks again. i like arsenals kits. but my favorite EPL team is Man U CHRISTIAN!! good save.... a team i secretly admire? benfica :( but i hate them!!!!! i dont even know why i admire them lol... i hate them. to the guy below... i dont think benfica has more supporters then sporting? and why would i be jealous of their world-wide support? IM A RED DEVIL, we have the most supporters world-wide!! good try though lol. i hate benfica and their fans. ahahaha baseball- Red Sox they finally got that huge monkey off their backs & won a World Series & beat the Yankees football- Patroits they won 3 super bowls in 4 years soccer- Arsenal that undefeated season in the EPL basketball- Lakers Kobe, Kobe, Kobe i agree with christian, i like the arsenal kit, but my fave team is LIVERPOOL!!!!!!! i like the barca kits but i hate them but like to watch them lol im a inner milan fan i have to admit that i do like Chelsea, although my favorite in the EPL is Liverpool...i really like Chelsea's style of play, Mourinho is a really good coach (although he's a pain in the @ss sometimes :P). |
