dos santos didnt work out they won't get giovanni...tis' a rumor only, but he is not going there... they'll keep bautista and that's all i heard that Barca might loan him out to Chivas, but gio says he's a America fan. I dont think it will happen. btw he wouldve been a loan. they also wanted Guardado, Atlas told them to go to hell. they want him on loan for a year with option for another year...and theres a clause tht says if Barca 1st squad need him for a game, he leaves to spain immediatly...but i think Chivas is doin this to encourage Rikaard to promote him quikly, b/c Gio said tht if he gets promoted he wont accept Chivas offer. his dad says that gio is not interested in chivas, that it would be a step backwards, gio says that he is an America fan not a chivas fan Read below this was taken from this site.....This will answer your question On June 5,2007, It was anounced by FC Barcelona that all Mexican club Club Deportivo Guadalajara are intresting on sigining the player for a 2 year loan contract. Directors said that if Dos Santos does not go to first team that they will accept Chivas offer.
