how the f**** did mexico loose?i dont get it. Well like always Mexico plays a great game but they get scored on the breakaway. I think they did a great job although it wasn't one of the most entertaining games. At the end I thought it was wrong when the fans started booing. Blanco tried making things more interesting with his stupid behavior but the game was marked by that horrible injury Veron received. I hope he is ok. i dont think Hugo Sanchez is fit to coach the Mexican National team. the talent is thier, but just the leadership is at a sublevel! maybe a well established coach wwould work wonders. dont feel too bad. paraguay frustated them and then watched mexico self destruct, and then finally took complete advantage of them. paraguay is an expert at doing that... mexico is not as good as some people think. not saying theyre a bad team now...just not as good as their fans think. good luck, paraguay has succesfully done this to argentina and even brazil. not in their houses but the tactics have worked. paraguay is excellent in defense.......shouldnt be too surprised though. mexico did their best... Who cares, it was a friendly. If Mexico wins the Gold Cup, will we look back at this game? If Mexico beats Brazil in Copa America, will we look back at this game? I may be in the minority, but our offense is the most overrated peice of garbage. Bravo is beyond overrated. Our midfield to foward exchange was priceless but we just could not finish. When the defense observes this all day, they will get impatient and try to assist, and guess what happened? Becuase they were nervous and they always try to attack fast and u need to think before u pass First of all, I thought Mexico played a much better game than they played against Iran as far as ball handling skills were concerned. They are however way off from what they should be. I am a die-hearted Mexican fan from the Caribbean and to tell the truth, Paraguay outplayed Mexico & deserved the 1-0 victory. Weak forwards Bravo is good, I must admit. But he is also an unlucky player. Bravo suffered a lot just like all the other Mexican players (even Guardado 鈥?though not a forward) from defenders who are stronger & physically superior. Mexico needs to not only work on the speed of the forwards but also on their strength. Mexico tried last night, but if they are unable to get these things right they are going to be humiliated in the Copa Oro & Copa America. Finally, I was watching Joga TV last night and it occurred to me that Mexican youth teams play a more attractive, skillful & more effective brand of football compared to the senior team. |
