Why Futbol-Soccer is King of Sports in Europe & Latin-America, but not in USA ? |
On the other hand.... Basketball is so popular in USA, but Argentina, Yugoslavia, China now are better than the dream team! Baseball supposedly is king of sports in USA, but Japan, Mexico or Cuba are better! Hockey..? Canada is # 1 Mixed Martial Arts? Brazil & Russia kicked all American azzes! Wake up America! Stop watching TV & eating junk food! Let's sport! sorry, what's your point again? Because the country that u live in decided what they liked in the olden days and stuck with it... Life england loves football and cricket... But as the world is growing n the people in it...the kids what more activities so ur country is bringing things new into there lifes which is great!! and your question is? america likes sports that it has a shot at winning. it hasn't ever had a real chance at winning the world cup. *and while the american women did win their world cup, america thinks that for a sport to be really huge the men have to be the ones who get the job done. tennis isn't an american passion despite the williams sisters. golf is a soft sport but tiger is king there. latinos are far more better in sports than the gringos the same thing with the peeps from other contries the only thing yall could win us at is in being racist and ignorant !!!! no offence There was only one dream team and it easily won the Gold in 1992. Since then many of our stars have not played in the Olympics. As for baseball only the superstars of those countries make in MLB. For the money the MLB pays everyone wants to come to the MLB. As for soccer it may catch on here, but it would be years before we would a force on the world scene. Because all the best American athletes play football, basketball, and baseball, and all the best European athletes play soccer. |
