*** when he has only coached a few games? This is not the best Mexican team ever, CHEMISTRY WISE. The players we have now all play different schemes in their club teams and are better suited for those systems, thats why they are better individualy wherever they are. That necessarily doesn't have to translate onto the field. For instance, Salcido plays left back at PSV, and Hugo has sometimes put him in Center back. Pardo plays defensive/center midfielder in Stuttgart, and to me, has been playing too far in front and slowing everything down. Take Spain for example. They have some of the best players in the world, but have they ever won the World Cup? I'm not saying Mexico has the best players, but individual success doesn't always lead to team success, especially in a team sport like soccer. I'd say from what I'm seeing on the field, everyone is trying to do everything by themselves and not working as a team. Hope this helps! Pepe7910, this has not been Mexico's worst year. The FIFA ranking was changed last year and shows really how the team is doing. Before they changed it, and Mexico was in the top ten, they didn't take into account the weak opponents Mexico always beats up on. This isn't Hugo's fault. And Mexico did lose to the US in a friendly that wasn't even close. Winners will always find a way to win and eventually, Hugo will because hugo sanchez has found a way to make our best team of all time (so far) to play absolutely TERRIBLE!!!! there hasnt been one game where Mexico played like they use to i mean look at when lavolpe was coach we played so well against so many teams Confederations Cup 1-0 win against brazil 1-1 tie 4-2 lost in penalties to argentina 4-3 lost to germany Qualification Round to World Cup 2-1 win to US 10-0 win to trinidad and tobago World Cup 2-1 lost to argentina in one exceptional game along with other really good games during his 4 years as coach and in top of that borghetti was the top goal scorer in the world during the world cup qualifications and lozano was the 3rd what has hugo done so far 2-0 lost to USA 1-0 lost to Paraguay IN AZTECA not to mention the crowd booed during the game 4-0 win to iran but were any of those goals really that good 2-1 win to cuba, mexico is way better than cuba and yet they scored first 2-1 lost to honduras we didnt do s*** that game 1-0 win to panama, lucky goal but look at these stats: panama had 13 almost goal chances compared to mexicos 4 chances, and even after panama had 2 players less they still played better and even almost tied all im saying is that hugo should change that fast because if we dont win copa oro or copa america i hope we kick his *** out of the tri color and find a better coach that will return mexico to its former glory actually dude x mexico was in the top 10 because of thier good performance in the Conferderations Cup in 2005 where they finished 4th and i do know my soccer and their are alot of people i know that agree with me this year has been mexicos worst year ever and they have never been in 26 place in the world rankings or lower until hugo took charge of them how convenient because he's taken the seleccion to the 26th ranking in fifa mexico's never been ranked dat low b4 ....also because he critized lavolpe abot how poorly he managed la seleccion and now look at him i think they were better wit lavolpe than wit sanchez even thought they both sucked .... mexico needs better d.t. |
