look to me nery played not only the best game with his talent but with his heart i have nothing but respect for him hes the man to bad they lost to the usa but nery,guardado,salcido proved to the best that mexico had all the gold cup I think that in the few games that he played, he demonstrated alot for being his first few months, whatever kind of character he has can be fixed, but come on now, it proves that he's adapting himself quickly to the team and that if he didn't wanna be here then he just wouldn't have done anything today. That play in the last minute (him running across the field after Donovan N Beasley) showed how much he really cares about being in the team n wanting the team to win. That's just my opinion. castillo played great but he never passed the darn ball we couldve had more shots on goal if he wouldve passed!!!!! Well he did impress me he is a quick player and Guardado and Salcido have a great future in Europe, But to bad for us couse Carlos Salcido is not going to go to Copa America nery castillo did impress me he does have talent and should keep playing with the national team. Bofo shouldn't be blamed as much because nery himself lost a clear goal. those players were all great!! i missed borgetti though... he couldve helped a lot :( of course he's good and you know what made him play like that? for me Hugo made him angry on purpose by not even sitting him in the bench in the Guadalupe game. Hugo must have know that they could beat Guadalupe so he made angry the only guy that the US still had not seen play. Man did u see him when he shook all those US players? I lost count but yeah he is a ball hog. Nery messed up some of the game plays because he either didn't look up or has some ego complex and didn't want to share the ball. I think I'd be more impressed if he has the intelligence to read the plays and know when to pass the ball around. He did give a good showing none the less. |
