like right when the trx 450 came out the 250rs like all Disappeared and i never see them anymore where are they.
The four-strokes are the new thing in moto racing. You need a larger cc engine to get the same power of the 2 stroke and the four-stroke burns cleaner and pollutes less. The power is smoother and easier to control on the four stroke and now the top end power of the four stroke in better. 7000 rpm and up... a fourstroke 450 will accelerate quicker than the 250r.
When it comes down to it the power of the four stroke is more managable and easier to control with less clutch and more torque. making them less demanding on your body.

Well I have a 1987 250R quad in my garage! But, the reason they phased out the 250R is because as you probably have noticed every one is going four stroke. I could be wrong, but that's is what everyone is talking about here in CA.
