Is a Yamaha Banshee Really that dangrous? |
I have had 2 years of riding experience is that enough to be able to ride an 89 Banshee. No im not talking about like top gear im talking about moderate speed and no tricks My husband and I own Banshees. I went from a Blaster to a Banshee within 3 months. The Banshee was quite intimidating for a while, I wasn't used to such power (and it was only stock back then!). I believe as long as you don't let stupidity and peer pressure drive you, you'll be fine. I do love to go fast, climb hills, and jump, but I'm not stupid. Just know your limitations and wear your gear. A Banshee's a great bike, your stock bike will whoop many other 4 wheelers out there. You'll find later, when you're more comfortable, that you will probably want a little more power and these bikes are easily modified. You will love it if you get it. Just remember to ride safe! Sure! almost anyone could jump on a banshee and just ride, but when it comes to tricks. it is a different story. well ovcourse ,consider this im thirteen n i can ride a banshee at top speed wit jet kit, extended swingarm and a bored out heads , and have you never ridden a atv before that, if so that mite be different depending how old u r my 6 year old cousins dad has a banshe and my cousin has ridin it and so have i. you can ride any atv if you know how to ride one Yeah I think so. Why not. I know what you are talking about, about if it may be to much. But my yfz seemed more dangrous than a banshee, as I owned both. Just be carful of the Powerband Learn it first. Banshee has last handling than almsot any 4-stroke, or any quad 2000 plus (not including the 2000+ banshees) if you stay out of the higher gears and know how to ride manual you should be fine |
