Dirt bike motocross pastrana FMX HANDLEBAR? |
are the pastrana handlebars any good? i`m 5 11 170 lbs ride all terrain. want the fell of a BMX bike (kinda) with less harsh feelings in my arms. thanx what bars u recommend? Its purely down to your own preference! try the pastrana ones if you like the look of them, its the only way you'll know! I am not a firm beleiver of handle bars making a difference of how it feels riding. Besides the anti vib ones. But I always liked Pro Taper, they have a nice design, and are really strong! On some tv show they tested them, they were able to put 1,200 pounds on them before they broke, and the most you get out of a fall is around 500 pounds, so you won't bend them easily I love my pro taper set up. The feel of the bar depends on the rise and the sweep. When you say Pastrana bars you are actually referring to the bend of the bar. The company that makes it is Renthal and they have all sorts of different bend bars named after racers they made the spec for. If you want a low, flat bar the Carmichael bend may work. Go on Renthal's website and look at the different bars they offer and pick a bend that you feel will work with your arm length and riding style. MX VET-B racer the travis pastrana bend is ideal for taller riders. They have a tall feeling. the best thing to do is to buy a pair and see if they will work for you........ |
