What is a good beginer dirt bike? |
Im 13 I want a good but cheap dirt bike At 13 a good used cheap dirt bike would be a 125 2 stroke (any make) Not just a ton of power and with the 4-strokes taking over the dirt bike world you should be able to get one at a pretty decent price. Check your local dirt bike shops for postings. Good luck! get a good used Honda 100 or 125 four stroke Honda 1000 give me best answer plz. A honda 100 4 stroke would be good. You can get a 2002 year bike it would be a lot cheaper. One of the most dependable bikes ever made also happens to be one that is great for a new rider like yourself to learn on. It's a Honda XR100. They've changed the name now to a CRF100 but it's still the same basic bike. They've also added a few new bikes to their lineup including a CRF150F and CRF230F that may be more suited towards your needs depending on how tall you are. I would suggest looking through your local classified papers to try and find one that is in good shape and has been taken care of. You should be able to find a late 90's model for well under $1000. Just remember to perform proper maintenance on the bike such as keeping an eye on the chain adjustment and making sure the air filter stays clean. You should also change the oil every few months on that particular bike. I would also ask the current owner if he/she performed these routine maintenance procedures to the bike before you purchase it. Experience - I learned to ride on an XR100! I would sayy a kawasaki 80 or 85. just because they are easy to ride & get used to. |
