What changes will they make to the BUSCH SERIES CHAMPIONSHIP POINTS SYSTEM next season? |
What changes will nascar make so that the Kevin Harvick 06' Season, and Edwards 07' season never happen again? I mean, this is ridiculus if you ask me. How can nascar let this happen? They should only allow full-time cup drivers to participate in half of the season races.. That's it. Let the other guys get some damn wins and championships. I mean come on!? EDWARDS AND HARVICK WIN THE BUSCH TITLE, SO WHAT!? Go focus on gettin' that cup title, chumps I agree. The chase format might help but then the Busch Whackers would still make the chase without running a full schedule. Maybe a chase format WITH extra points for the number of races they participated in. A cap on the number of races a full time cup driver could run would do the trick as well, as long as it wasn't too restrictive. The cup drivers are still needed for sponsorship and fan interest purposes. Source(s): Have a GREAT day : ) In my opinion full time Cup drivers shouldn't be allowed to race Busch at all. It's a developmental series to get to Cup. If they need to race Busch then they have no business in the Cup series. dunno my opinion have 5 races set a year when only cup drivers can compete...and make them when not at the same track to discourage them from competing Personally I think they SHOULD allow CUP drivers in the BUSCH series races BUT....They should NOT allow them to receive points toward the BUSCH Championship. Not that many CUP drivers drive in the BUSCH races now, fans want to see their favorite drivers and NASCAR wants to promote the BUCSH races. Thus deny the CUP drivers points in it. Seems like a simple solution. Beyond that, I have heard BUSCH is not sponsoring the series next year. I wonder if AT&T will step in...hahha. How Ironic. I agree. The BUSCH series has got crappier, and crappier. I haven't watched an entire season since Vickers won the title. I hate it for the BUSCH series regulars the most though.. Sure it sucks from a fan standpoint too.. But think about guys like Marcos Ambrose, Mike Wallace, Shane Huffman, Stephen Leicht, Regan Smith, Jason Leffler, Hami Jr... They are the ones that should REALLY be fighting for a chance to win the BUSCH series Championship. NASCAR doesn't realize how much they TRUELY are hurting the sport. Truthfully, I don't think they care. The big names @ the BUSCH races.. BRINGS MONEY TO THE DOOR. That's all that matters for France. And Intox, The only thing I don't like about your arguement is that would probably allow a BUSCH series champion to be crowned EVERY year without ever getting a win. The fact is, BUSCH regulars can't gain enough experience and run up front if the top 20 are filled w/ Cup regulars and STRONG CUP teams. |
