Do Western Australia's follow Rugby League?


My housemate (who is from Victoria) reckons that Western Australia mainly follows the AFL and not the NRL...Is this true....?

Your housemate is correct. We had an NRL team here a few years ago (Western Reds) for 2 or 3 seasons, but no one got behind it. I'm from Perth and none of my mates follow NRL, only AFL.
