Can anyone beat the high flying west coast eagles this year? |
I reckon they are too good, but would like to hear if anyone has any reasons for believing they can be beat. If Freo are relying on Tarrant to get them to the next level, prepare for an early exit in the finals. if it is any one it would freo ,crows and sydney swans 1st - shouldn't this be under AFL not rugby league? 2nd - i think its too early to tell how good they are going to be this year compared to the other teams. Teams have drafted new players and have changed around so hopefully there will be some good competition out there and that whatever happens its a good close season of football. Wait until a couple of rounds into the season proper and see how each team is fairing then cause you never know if the eagles will be struck down with injuries or what will happen. West Coast Eagles will win Again! Collingwood. With a strong line up of up and coming champions and the assortment of their more experienced players eg Buckley, Rocca, Clement et al. they will be hard to go past as at least a chance. West Coast were beaten by Collingwood last year and can be beaten again. Look out! Although they will be tough to beat i still think that Fremantle can beat them with the amount of young talent coming up like Michael Johnson, David Mundy, Brett Peake, Ryan Crowley and Ryan Murphy. Plus with the experience of Pavlich, Hasleby, Bell, Hedland and hopefully Tarrant, I think Freo could beat the eagles. (Freo Fan) got lucky by one point same as swans last year but its a good game |
