Weight of an NRL Football?? |
Does anyone know the average weight of an Australian NRL football, and or what material it is made of?? Hi there. i cant tell you about the weight because of course it depends on how much air the ball is pumped but even still i cant help you there. However the material is synthetic. prior to 1989 it was made of leather but it was difficult to play with in the rain. The reason it is made out of synthetic these days is because its better handling and does n ot get water logged. You may want to try the NRL website on www.nrl.com.au. Good luck With or without the air m well are you talking about with air if so about1and a half ponds fully sired up. without air about half of a pond my greatuncle use to play I would be guessing around 450grams but really is dependant on the air pressure, the conditions (wet balls are heavier marginally) the material made to make the ball. 100g and its synthetic |
