My friend doubts the existance of rugby lads and some weird games they can play? |
I apoligise to rugby players who like the game and arn't meatheads /whatever ,but any experiances people have had to prove that this type existed ,may of just happened in 7s/80's or could be bullshit (don't think so tthough) Hi mate Bit of an odd question! Rugby lads do exist there are lots of us around the world who both play and watch the game! There is a small competition coming up in France during September and October called The Rugby WORLD Cup! As for weird games well again, yes their are! However, most are played at rugby clubs and mainly whilst clubs are on tour so on the whole rugby players and fans do not offend anyone. Most are fairly intelligent and well behaved, which is what thankfully separates us from the football mentality. Songs such as Father Abraham and games such as Soggy Biscuit are particularly funny! Oh believe me it's still going on. The yard, the funnel, the Etonian f a g type humiliation. I'm glad I was never a rugby lad. ((What's wrong with f a g? It's a slang word for cigarettes and "helpers" at private schools)) Seriously a weird bunch aren't they? After 3 - 1,2,3 - A is for a$$hole all tattered and torn. Hey ho says Roly! And B is for B***ard that's never been born, with a Roly Poly up em and f*ck em hey ho says Anthony Roly! C is for c*** lips all dripping with p*ss. Hey ho says Roly! And D is for drunkard that gave them a kiss, with a Roly Poly up em and f*ck em hey ho says Anthony Roly! And so on....lol Rugby rules!!! Yeah man, they are still in excistance. Especially in the minor leagues, where guys are usually there for the fun of it more than to win. Bus trips with Kegs and funnels onboard. Fines, for saying and doing stupid things. Player of the day nudy runs. I even know of a team that every player has to consume a shot before the game and at half time. And then when you get to the pub it gets even worse. Go jock strap humour, may it never die. Yep they're still there makes it a better friendly atmosphere to play in as it creates comradary ( spelt wrong but hey ho) and better banter after the game - non players wouldnt understand though - although when i was at college the hockey lads and lassies were much worse than us rugby meatheads!!!!! the smaller clubs still have the heavy drinking culture but proffesional clubs have cut down on this a lot. I regularly used to see Welsh internationals being carried out from pubs too drunk to stand back in the 80s. |
