I need Rugby questions for Quiz night? |
Hello fellow opinionated Rugby fatheads. I need some good suggestions for questions for a Rugby quiz I am delivering in Japan next week. I want some witty questions to deliver to make me appear more intelligent and informed than I actually am. I am hoping to avoid dozens of cretinous replies by the typical gormless hordes of ill informed mid-western teenagers and housewives that appear to infest this site dispensing pearls of wisdom like; "Umm I don't know 'bout Rugby but superbowl is way cool! Maybe you could get a book or sumthin? LOL ;>) " Thanks for your help morons - sod off. Extra points for amusing, rude or droll questions. Fire away. Ok you could try this one. Witch country has the highest rugby goal posts? Answer. Zambia. A small mining town Luhansya has the highest posts. A stadium in Scotland once made theirs higher, but then the Luhansya Club pulled theirs down and made even higher. Hope I could help Here's one: Q: Whose nickname was "Nobody" A: John Eales, the Aussie lock who captained them to World Cup glory in 1999. The reason behind the nickname? You know the old saying "Nobody's perfect"? Well, that's what Eales was regarded as, the perfect rugby player. Not sure if that'll work in Japan though. If I think of any more I'll post them here.
