Should I run with sore legs?

My thighs are already sore from exercises like duck walks and frog jumps. And they are really sore. I don't run a lot, but would like to today. Is it ok to go ahead and run? Or will it make it worse?

Yeah you can run but as my coach says, go for a "recovery run". This is just a really slow, gentle plod. The idea of this is to flush out any lactic & waste products & to esae your soreness. Don't be tempted to turn it into a fast, hard run or it will go against the whole point & make your legs worse. Its good that you are doing leg strengthening exercises(try the ski sit- back against the wall & thighs parallel to the floor, it canes!) as your legs will become stronger & will recover quicker in the future.
Your legs are sore due to not being used to the exercise and being out of shape. The more you exercise the better in shape you will get and you will no longer be sore.
they say no pain no gain.... BUT give it a rest for a couple of days and let the muscles repair themselves before you wind up hurting yourself
personally, going for a nice slow run helps my sore quads feel better. if you're not used to running, you shouldnt push it anyway, but keep in mind that soreness is your body's way of telling you something. if you do try to run, go easy.
I'm a runner and have always believed in the philosophy of listening to your body. If it hurts...rest it.
It is okay. General soreness is normal from exercise. If you aren't experiencing any joint pain, and if it isn't unusually painful, a short run might actually help some.

Normal long distance running doesn't utilize the quads anywhere near the extent your other exercises do.

Like with anyhting, be sure to get enough rest days each week, to recover and rebuild damaged tissue. This is when your body actually makes its improvements.
i would just do a shake and bake run if ur legs are sore and do a long run a few days later...

if u get crazy about running, like the way i do, then i would suggest a long run today... remember, only do this if u r really really trying to improve...
