Snooker on a 9 ft. pool table?

Has anyone ever heard of a set of pool-sized (2 1/4") snooker balls for play on a 9ft. pool table? I realize it would be a bit more congested with the extra balls on the table, but it would still be fun to try. M.D.-BCA Instructor/Referee.

That would be a great way to bring snooker to the masses. Sounds cool...better patent it :) A lot of people don't play with all the red balls, anyway. Might cut down on the congestion on a 9' table.

should be interesting to try im no great fan of snooker but it would be different I guess we could get out the spray paint .I have played quite a few games of 9 ball on a snooker table so why not

I've played golf and nine on a 9' table but never even seen snooker on a pool table. Might be fun but with the rounded pockets...who knows.
