What is the most unlikrly place you ever played pool in for money With me a drug store in KY won $ 14 it was gas money Sorry Johnny, don't have a really great story to take you to....but I initially read your question as "drug store and KY"....I did not think of Kentucky at first....but the "jelly" type KY!!....got me to thinking about what happened next!!!!....have a good one!! Allright Mickey Good one Johnny At my friends house when we were kids. There was this old guy in a small town in Missouri who had a beautiful full size snooker table in a barn out back of his gas station.We never played for any money but it was the first and only time I bent down to make a shot with chickens running around my feet. We're talkin' hillbilly snooker. Strange but true. I love pool. My first memory of playing pool is as a kid on the floor of a store called "Yellow Front" (not around anymore), it was one of those small plastic pool tables with the little itty bitty balls and chop sticks for pool cues, the cues had a little spring action on them to launch the pool stick forward. I've graduated to the local pool hall. No more playing pool laying of the floor. Met a girl at a tournament and we hit it off...for 3 days. Took her to her home some 150 miles away.......and found out she was married. She played it off to her husband that she had found someone that wanted a good gamble. Played right there at his house with him never the wiser. I could barely hold my cue Luck K |
