How do i bring down my chlorine level and will it hurt if i get in it with high chlorine level?

you put this in the billiards type of pool not swimming pools.

I know they have acid reducer. I know Baking soda helps something I think that's for algea (sp)

I would check the water before I went in if the Chlorine is high, get a kit to check the acid & chlorine if you don't have one already, and whle you're there ask them about it because I can't remember the trick or if there is one for Cholorine.
1. Wait for a couple of days and let the chlorine level return to normal on its own. Be sure to take your solar blanket off as sunlight will help break down the chlorine (especially if you used non-stabilized shock).

2. Use a chlorine reducing agent. They are usually called "After Shock" or something similar. These chemicals are available at your local pool supply store and are usually based on some formulation of sodium thiosulfate.
just pee in it, every time i get into my friends pool a take a leak, my urine battles his chlorine (usually the urine wins) and turns his pool a shade of green.
