What is the record for the most consective break and run nine ball racks? |
What is the record for the most consective break and run nine ball racks? I also heard that Johnny Archer ran 14 and out. But I actually witnessed this... in a Texas Express Midwest 9-Ball event Dave Matlock ran 9-racks and out from the break. And because the rules are "rack your own", Dave's opponent didn't have to get outta his chair once. There's no way of knowing how many Matlock could have run had the races been longer than 9-games. All I can tell you is he was in dead punch... Jay Source(s): Witnessed this 9-games run. not sure but while watching a tv tourny, the commentator said that archer ran 14 n out n a race to 14, said his opponent never got out of the chair after the lag. earl did 11 that i know of, not sure if it was his best? Not sure My best is 9 with 4 on the break if you want count them -But 9 runs -didnt run first rack Whats a Earl gotta ask a question bout them kind of players someday I have seen 4 and 5 racks of 9-ball run without a miss, but... 14? Mr. Archer definitely was in the zone. |
